Changes to our longer routes!
The 50 Mile Half Century is a great opportunity for the intermediate rider to train for a full Century (100 Mile) ride. This ride contains many rest stops with volunteer support through out the route. Ride on-road to the W&OD Trail west, past Ashburn and Leesburg, climb the Blue Ridge and then ride on-road and on-trail through the fields and woods of Virginia’s scenic, historic towns: Hamilton and Purcellville. Return to RTC via W&OD.
The 75 Mile Horse Country Ride is geared towards the avid rider. This is a new route this year and, as always, will be very well supported with multiple rest stops and route marshals from start to finish. The course will start on-road to the W&OD Trail west, past Ashburn and Leesburg, climb the Blue Ridge and then venture on-road uphill and down through the horse country of beautiful Loudoun County. Enjoy Virginia’s scenic, historic towns: Hamilton, Round Hill, Airmont, Lincoln, and Purcellville. Return to RTC via W&OD.
