Congratulations and Thank You to all our Riders, Fund-Raisers and Volunteers.
Almost 3,000 Riders, Family Members & Supporters and Volunteers gathered at the Queen Mary for a truly memorable day.
After the thrill of cycling across the great port bridges, many riders enjoyed the breathtaking views and climbs of the Palos Verdes Peninsula, while others returned to the Queen Mary by Tour de Cure Bus or Harbor Cruise. Those preferring to avoid the bridges, enjoyed a relaxing ride along the Long Beach Shore line Cycle Path - all to help STOP DIABETES.

A Red Rider
is someone living with diabetes (type 1, type 2 or gestational) who
rides in Tour de Cure as an individual or on a team! The purpose of the
Red Rider program is to support everyone who lives with diabetes and
showcase the courage it takes to live every day with this difficult
disease.
As a Red Rider you are a VIP because YOU are WHY WE RIDE!
With
hundreds of riders who may share a similar story, and hundreds more to
support you, being a Red Rider can help with your first step or your
millionth—in your fight to live a healthier life!

Claiming You Thank You Gift
If you are eligible for a Thank You gift - including Cycling Jerseys and Champions Packages - you will receive a certificate BY MAIL eight weeks after the event. You will then be able to go on line and claim your Thank You Gift.
All donations, on-line or by check, received by June 8, 2012 will count towards your Thank You Gift Level and Team Total.
