Event Highlights
Take the challenge and get ready to Take the Ride of Your Life! The sense of accomplishment that you'll feel as you cross the finish line can only be matched by the difference you'll be making in the lives of the 26 million Americans living with diabetes. Be one of more than 50,000 riders nationwide committed to helping us Stop Diabetes! The Skylands Tour de Cure starts and ends at the Verizon Campus in Basking Ridge. With routes ranging from a leisurely 13 mile ride around the Great Swamp Wildlife Refuge, to a challenging century ride through Jockey Hollow and the Somerset Hills, there's something for everyone at the Skylands Tour de Cure!
This is an event like no other. No matter which distance you choose you'll be fully supported with route marshals, SAG vehicles, mechanical support, and rest stops stocked with hydration and a variety of snacks to keep you fueled. At the finish, you will be welcomed with cheering volunteers, great food and much more.

A Red Rider
is someone living with diabetes (type 1, type 2 or gestational) who
rides in Tour de Cure as an individual or on a team! The purpose of the
Red Rider program is to support everyone who lives with diabetes and
showcase the courage it takes to live every day with this difficult
disease. With
hundreds of riders who may share a similar story, and hundreds more to
support you, being a Red Rider can help with your first step or your
millionth—in your fight to live a healthier life!
Red Riders who raise the $175 fundraising minimum or more receive a complimentary Red Rider Jersey!
 
Red Riders who raise $1,000+ receive their Red Rider Jersey and these Red Rider Shorts!

Red Riders who raise $2,600+ receive the Red Rider Jersey, Red Rider Shorts and this Red Rider Wind Jacket!

Tour de Cure Jerseys
Reminder: Riders who raise $500 or more by May 15th will be
eligible to receive their Tour de Cure Jersey on Tour Day instead of after the
ride! Just a few days left to qualify for your pre-order!
 
Riders who raise $500+ will earn the red jersey, and riders who raise
$2,600+ will earn the gold Champion Jersey!

The Contest Details: Did you know that the
average fundraising of Tour participants nationwide is $440 per person?
Let's show everyone that Skylands Tour de Cure participants are better than
average...we're exceptional! We have one of the highest rider fundraising
averages in the country, so let's keep it that way. Everyone who passes
the $440 fundraising average by midnight on Tuesday, May 22nd will be entered
into a drawing to win a gift certificate to The Westin Governor Morris.
If you already passed the $440 mark, you are automatically entered!
Contest Winner of
the Week
Congratulations to Deborah
Kline from the Saint Clare's Regional Diabetes Center team for winning
last week's contest! Deborah raised over $256 for the 25.6 million
Americans with diabetes. Great job! To recognize her efforts Deborah will
receive a $50 Dip Certificate to The Melting Pot!
