Thank you for your interest in the Triangle Tour de Cure.
Recently, you may have heard that the organization launched a new Strategic Plan and is embarking on significant changes to increase our ability to drive discovery, raise voice and support more people affected by diabetes both nationally and locally in our area.
The Association is taking necessary steps to ensure our ability to better deliver on our mission, and to successfully institute our new Strategic Plan. This includes not only continuing to fund programs and research programs, but also to invest more resources to drive these initiatives and to explore more ways we can serve our community directly.
Changes in Raleigh
Given the new plan and after looking at all the data, it was decided that the focus would be on larger events. As a result, we are no longer moving forward with the Triangle Tour de Cure at this time. Thank you to all the volunteers and riders who took part in the event over the years! You have directly impacted many people living with diabetes and, with new fresh focus of the Association, more people will be reached.
You can still be a part of the Tour de Cure! One of the newly expanded events is the Tour de Cure in Charlotte.
