Tour de Cure Chicago is more than just a cycling event. It's a life-changing event. A day full of fun and excitement where riders of all levels join forces in the fight to Stop Diabetes® and raise critical funds for diabetes research, education and advocacy in support of the American Diabetes Association. Last year, locally, more than 1,200 riders raised over $725,000 to Stop Diabetes!
Riders can expect amazing start and finish energy, fabulous food options at the rest stops, full lunch and live entertainment at the post-ride party, and much more! View our Route Guide to see all the details! The Chicagoland Tour de Cure offers several routes: 100 miles, 65 miles, 40 miles, 20 miles and 10 miles**. Enjoy a beautiful ride along the Illinois Prairie Path, or challenge yourself to complete 65 or 100 miles on the open road. View all routes here.
So take the Ride of Your Life and sign up today! All riders who reach the fundraising minimum of $200 will receive many benefits including a Tour de Cure t-shirt, and all Red Riders who reach the minimum will get a Red Rider Jersey to wear at the ride. Riders who reach $500+ raised will have the option of selecting the Tour de Cure Jersey as a Thank You Gift!

Whether you are an occasional rider or an experienced cyclist, there is a route just for you:
* Riders may pick up their packets the morning of the ride from 5:30am-10:00am. We recommend that riders pick up their packets at least a half hour before their start time.
** Please note the following:
- Path Routes will leave the start line in waves, as to alleviate congestion along the route. Path Routes will be closed at 3pm.
- Road Routes will leave together, as to ensure safety when crossing busy streets through Aurora. Road routes will be closed at 4pm.
