Welcome to 2017 Saratoga Tour de Cure

It Starts With You!

When you register for the Tour de Cure you become a part of the American Diabetes Association’s largest fundraising event. Joining you will be thousands of participants from around the country who come together to directly impact the lives of people facing the daily challenges of diabetes and their loved ones.

When you register:

  • You’re raising awareness in your community about diabetes
  • You’re supporting life-saving research
  • You’re helping people who are discriminated against because they have diabetes

Fundraising is easy with your personal fundraising center. You will have your own fundraising page, email center, mobile app and more. The Association staff is there to help you every step of the way.

Tour riders who raise $1,000 or more individually become Champions to Stop Diabetes.  In 2016, we proudly had 177 Champions raise a total of $356,612!  Champions are valued members of the Tour family and we celebrate them every chance we get. Consider taking the Pledge to Become a Champion today! See our Champion page for full details.

The Tour de Cure Event Day is Like No Other!

Participating in the Tour de Cure is an experience you will never forget. More than just a cycling event, the Saratoga Springs Tour de Cure is a celebration, bringing together cyclists of all ages and ability levels to Stop Diabetes®. Nestled in beautiful Upstate NY, Saratoga Springs is a dynamic and fun environment surrounded by arts, food, culture, and history.

The Saratoga Tour has 5 routes from which to choose. The 10 mile is a beautiful flat ride through Saratoga Spa State Park distinguished by its classical architecture and listed as a National Historic Landmark. The 28 mile travels through the State Park and scenic Saratoga County. The 50 mile has moderate hills to climb at the 14 and 27 mile mark and a mostly downhill grade for the final 15 miles. The 62.5 and the 100 mile rides are for the experienced cyclist who enjoys a challenge.

Along the way we provide rest stops stocked with refreshments, bike mechanics, medical support, and volunteers to fuel and cheer you along your journey. Following your ride, celebrate with us at the post-ride festival, which includes lunch, massages, and live entertainment.

You will be inspired by all of those joining you as you make an impact for this great cause. Make a difference and register for the Tour de Cure today!
