Welcome to 2017 Silicon Valley Tour de Cure

Thank you so much for your tremendous support of the Silicon Valley Tour de Cure!  Your passion, commitment and energy made the event a huge success. We couldn't have done it without you!

More than 1,000 participants were out walking, running, and biking and together to help us reach our 2017 goal of raising $1,000,000 to Stop Diabetes. Can you help us get there?

Please join us in thanking our local sponsors, vendors, and the hundreds of volunteers who have supported the Tour throughout the year. Their generosity played a huge role in this year's success.

**Just because the event is over doesn't mean everything else is.  Here are some important reminders:

Post-Event Fundraising: Your Tour Center will remain open for online fundraising, and cash/check donations can be sent to our local office at the address below.  Please include a note with your name so we can credit the gift to you.

Recognition Item Deadline: You have through July 10 to continue fundraising for a Tour jersey, jacket, or other recognition items. If you have already achieved recognition gift status – Thank you. If we did not have your size, your item(s) will be mailed to you in three weeks time.

Matching Gifts:  Take a minute to check our matching gift search and see if you or any of your donors work for a company that matches gifts. Typically all that's required is filling out a short form and including a donation receipt. Some companies will even match what you collect as a participant.

Event Photos and Videos:  View our 2017 event Captivating Photos here and some additional event photos here. Some have already been posted on Facebook and there will be tons more coming in soon. Make sure to tag yourself and any of your fellow participants!

Event Feedback:  What did you like?  What can we improve?  We want to make the Silicon Valley Tour the best event it can be, so please reach out to Karen with any feedback.

Committee Recruitment:  Want to help plan the 2018 event? Our Committee is always looking for new members to help with recruitment, publicity, logistics, fundraising and so much more.  If you or anyone you know is interested, contact Karen Zimmerman.

We hope you enjoyed the the Tour as much as we enjoyed putting it on for you.  On behalf of the American Diabetes Association, the Committee, and the nearly 30 million people living with diabetes, thank you for bringing us closer to a life free of diabetes and all its burdens!
