Since the onset of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic in early 2020, the ADA has followed the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO) and other health authorities. It is with the greatest caution and the priority of the health and safety of our volunteers, advocates, employees, partners and friends that we have decided to host our 2021 events virtually.
We also have merged the Central South Texas and North Texas events into one event—now the virtual Tour de Cure: Texas.
Our event offers you the opportunity to help us celebrate our 30th anniversary and the impact we’ve made together in a new engaging virtual experience from home or wherever you are. Funds raised will support lifesaving research, education and advocacy to support the millions of Americans living with diabetes and their loved ones All cycling teams and participants can register now for the Tour de Cure: Texas and participate virtually at home or in your local neighborhood on June 26, 2020.
If you are a past walker or runner we are excited to invite you to participate in our National Virtual Step Out event, our local staff will be in touch with you soon to share more about this new virtual journey that will both inspire and motivate!
