2019 Tour de Cure: Chicagoland

Team PwC

I am excited to announce that PwC Chicago will enter Year 6 of its participation in the American Diabetes Association's Chicagoland Tour de Cure, a cycling event to raise funds for diabetes.

As always, this exciting, family oriented event will be held at RiverEdge Park in Aurora, IL on Sunday, June 2nd with participation options including 12, 30, 63, and 100 mile cycling routes.  See attached Fact Sheet for all the details.

PwC continues to be a Sponsor for the event and the Top Corporate team for riders and funds raised.  Sinced 2014, we have raised over $235,000 for this important cause.  Our 2019 goals & incentives include:

  • Free PwC cycling jerseys for all new riders
  • Targeting 75 riders and $40,000 funds raised
  • PwC SWAG on the day of the event
  • Raffle prizes (think Cubs tickets, fitness gadgets) for leading fund raisers

Please join us for an information sharing / kick-off meeting on Friday, March 22 in the Chicago office!  At this session, we will answer ALL questions, share past rider experiences... and also have the ADA and their cycling and running/walking vendors present to answer questions and demo their latest and greatest gear!  Please reach out to Pever Vesely, Jason King or Christian Engel if you would like to join this meeting.

Last, our Tour website is up and running... please register today!

I sincerely hope that you'll join us for this outstanding event!  All are welcome as we support the Tour and the American Diabetes Association.
