Welcome to My Tour de Cure Web Page!
This year has been full of change and learning to adapt. While it is hard to make plans for the future one thing that is certain to me is the importance of community support. Riding my bike for this fundraiser has been one of the best ways I have connected to the area, exploring and training but best of all making connections with fantastic people.
American Diabetes Association's Tour de Cure all across the country is going virtual so I won't be able to enjoy the benefit of riding with the many dedicated people I know. But I will still fundraise and ride on July 25! I will need your support more than ever as I ride closer to home in a smaller but no less important way.
The team I ride with was started in 2012 and has grown leaps and bounds in size and impact. Through the local ADA office, Paige was able to advocate directly to elected officials, she had a voice. In addition to research, ADA has made a direct impact in school programs, reduced insulin prices and improved technology for monitoring blood glucose. Like many organizations, ADA has lost a large part of it's fundraising support this year.
Paige's father, Brad, has set the team goal this year so that the total from our amazing campaign over the years will reach $250,000. You have been an incredibly supportive part of that. Thank you! And please join me with a donation so that we can have an epic finale for Paige's Pilots in 2020!
