Almost 1 in 10 Americans now have Diabetes
On April 14, I'm pedaling the
2019 Southwest Florida Tour de Cure!
This will be my 4th year of riding to fund diabetes research that's, defiant of the odds, managed to keep me alive these 58 years. Many thanks to those of you who've supported my efforts in these rides. If you have the means, your (tax deductible) donation will be put to GOOD use to help overcome diabetes.
No matter the amount, your gift will improve the lives of some 33 million Americans who endure diabetes day to day.
It's quick and way easy. Just click the "Donate To Me" button above.
(Regardless of what the button says, your donation is to the American Diabetes Association, NOT to ME.) ;)
I invite you to click the "Join My Team" button above, and ride with Team Red SWFL! If you don't live in Tampa Bay, there's a Tour de Cure near you..look it up! It'll be a rewarding and EPIC day you'll never forget, trust! (It's so much awesome that I'm happy to be up and on site before the 6:30a check in.) Go Red Rider!
Why I ride:
I ride because cycling is awesome!
I ride because it's a wonderful way to meet active friends.
I ride for my health. Riding helps me keep my own diabetes (& weight) under control..ish.
I ride to raise money for research, so that, one day, we won't have to endure the day to day crap, then then the debilitating effects of diabetes.
Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not. ~ Dr. Seuss
