Tour de Cure Year 3 (for me)
This will be the third year I will be raising money to support the American Diabetes Association. Last year, unfortunately I had an accident just before the event fracturing my ankle so all we could do was to cheer Ben and Gayle from afar. We had been looking forward to the ride but my injury prevented that from happening. This is a new year, Marcy and I hope nothing will keep us from participating for this great cause. The ride we will be taking place in Napa Valley.
In 2018 our team consisted of Ben, Gayle, Marcy and myself. Each one of us was able to reach the Champion fund raising status by having contributors like you. Our team raised over $4000. Our hope is to shatter that amount with your help.
It was two years ago in April that Ben was diagnosised with diabetes and he has done a great job managing it. We are extremely proud of him and feel this is one way we can help support him and others with this condition. Every year there are new innovations which come about with the help of contributions to the American Diabetes Association.
I am asking you to support our team 'Ben's Dia-Buddies'' on our ride to raise awareness of this condition and help fund the research needed to find a cure. Fortunately with all the research that has been done, life for people with this condition has greatly improved but more can still be done. I am hoping with your support additional improvements can be made to eventually identify a cure.
As an additional incentive this year Naked Wines is offering an incredible deal. For a donation of $60 you will receive from Naked Wines 6 bottles of wine and the full $60 will go towards the American Diabetes Association. A pretty incredible offer and shipping is included in the $60 donation. The link for taking advantage of the Naked Wines offer is: https://us.nakedwines.com/teamdiabuddies.
