Welcome to My Tour de Cure Web Page!
Support Me in Tour de Cure!
This will be my 21st year cycling in the American Diabetes Association's Tour de Cure bike ride.
This fund raising event is very important to me personally and professionally. I will ride 200 miles the weekend of the St Louis Tour de Cure as part of my effort to STOP DIABETES. In addition, I will donate over $2000 to the ADA this year.
Cancellation of the Tucson Tour de Cure and difficulty rescheduling will prevent me from participating in an out of town Tour de Cure this year.
My wife and brother have diabetes. My father had diabetes most of his adult life. This puts me, my children and my granddaughters at high risk to develop diabetes.
On a professional level, I see the devastating effects of diabetes every day.
I have been the#1 fund raiser for the St. Louis ride for the last 20 years. With your help, I hope to make it 21 in a row. I have raised over $350,000 to help STOP DIABETES!
My team, Gus's Gang, named for my father, is the #1 fund raising team in St. Louis and one of the top teams in the USA. The Bauer Boys and Gus's Gang have raised over $690,000 in the fight to STOP DIABETES! Our goal for 2017 is to raise $40,000 to fund the fight to cure diabetes.
Please support me by selecting the "Click Here to Sponsor Me" button, or "Join My Team" and ride with us. Our efforts will help set the pace in the fight against diabetes. So let's get in gear and bike to beat diabetes!
Help Make a Difference!
Pedal power works!
Each mile I ride, each dollar I raise will be used in the fight to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.
No matter how small or large, your generous gift will help improve the lives of the more than 20 million Americans who suffer from diabetes, in the hope that future generations can live in a world without this disease. Together, we can all make a difference!
Thank you for making a generous contribution to this cause that is so important to me!
