Support Doug Papciak as he raises money and awareness in battle against diabetes.
Wow, I have done the Tour de Cure for so many years in a row, that I have lost track. My friends at the American Diabetes Association tell me 2017 will be my 13th Tour de Cure in a row. More importantly, with a massive amount of support from friends like you, I have raised over $130,000.00 for the American Diabetes Association.
What am I doing in 2017 to raise money? To be honest, I haven't the slightest idea. Most years I ride a unicycle. I don't think that is realistic this year, though. My only goal this year it to raise money to battle diabetes and hopefully support the event as an amateur radio operator.
If you are not sure if you might be at risk for diabetes, ask your doctor. The ADA offers a quick assessment so you can evaluate your risk for diabetes at http://www.diabetes.org/risktest . Seven easy questions will give you an idea of your risk.
A huge thank you to all of you that have helped me raise over $130,000.00 over the last decade or so. Together we make a HUGE difference.
THANK YOU for your time and your generosity!!!
