Please support Team Vincent
Dear Family and Friends,
It's that time of year again when we're gearing up for another ride in the annual Tour de Cure. I draw my inspiration for my 12th Tour de Cure from my Team mate, Vincent Harrer. Vince is the reason for my dedication to the Tour de Cure. I couldn't say it any better than he has and his words are below:
"Two years ago, I met an incredible person, Bruce Reisdorf, who has been riding in the Tour de Cure for several years. I was able to meet him at the Champions Celebration in Buffalo when Bruce was the #1 individual fundraiser. He came up with the idea to create Team Vincent, so we've teamed up together. Last year from all of you, together we were able to raise over $20,000!!!!!!!!! You can see us riding in to the finish line together by viewing the Youtube video below.
The American Diabetes Association has done so much for me. All the girls there are very friendly. I've been in photo shoots, given interviews, and spoken at numerous events and functions. The ADA sponsors numerous camps across the country for kids living with diabetes. I've attended Camp Aspire in Rush, NY for the past 5 years and will be going back this year. It is so much fun and I plan on being a counselor there when I'm old enough.
Please support me with a donation by clicking the "donate to me" button.
Our efforts will continue to help researchers find a cure for diabetes. This is so important to me and so many others living with this disease. My family and I want to thank you for your continued support. This could not happen without all of you.e vital work of the American Diabetes Association by being a sponsor? "
Here's how you can participate:
- Mail your tax-deductible check made out to the American Diabetes Association to me at: P.O. Box 125, Katonah, NY 10536, or
- Go to www.diabetes.org/tour to make an online donation
- Contact your employers’ Human Resources or Benefits Department to find out if your company has a Matching Gift Program
With your generosity, no matter how great or small, you will be able to make a significant difference in the lives of people affected by this disease. Vincent and I are grateful for your confidence and we appreciate your support to this cause that has been very important to us for so many years.
Sincerely, Bruce Reisdorf
