Welcome to the Wilsons' New England Classic Web Page!
We're on the road to STOP diabetes!
The Wilson family is back again for 2019 to raise funds for the American Diabetes Association as part of the New England Classic, a 7-day, 550-mile bicycle tour. Tim has been a New England Classic rider since 1994 and Marlene has been a volunteer for more than 10 years. We have pedaled and traveled thousands of miles and raised thousands of dollars with your help but we are still in search of a cure.
This is Tim's fifth year working for the ADA after 20 years as a New England Classic rider, Planning Committee member and chairman. Now as associate director of Tour de Cure in Massachusetts, Tim has the added responsibility of the North Shore Tour Tour de Cure that took place in May. Marlene helped out on the North Shore Tour de Cure, of course, and will again spend the week on the New England Classic as a volunteer, helping our cyclists meet the challenge of pedaling hundreds of miles to raise funds and awareness of diabetes.
In addition to Tim's role with the ADA, we are continuing our personal fundraising efforts and ask that you continue your generous support.
There are now more than 30 million Americans with diabetes. This insidious disease is growing and we need your help to respond to the challange the American Diabetes Association faces in our mission to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes. There is no cure for this deadly disease but we WILL get there with your help.
Please support our efforts for the ADA with a contribution.
Tim and Marlene Wilson
Help make a difference
Pedal power works!
Whatever contribution you can afford helps keep the fight against diabetes on track when funding sources are strained. Each mile we ride and each dollar we raise supports research, diabetes treatment, education and advocacy for adults and children.
No matter the amount, your generous gift will help improve the lives of people who suffer from diabetes, in the hope that future generations can live in a world without this disease. Join us in our mission to BE THE DIFFERENCE in the fight against diabetes!
Thank you for any contribution you can make.
