Welcome to My Tour de Cure Web Page!
Riding a bike is almost 2nd nature to me. As a child it was a means of transportation, how I went to school and how I got home. As an adult with Type 2 diabetes I ride for my health. Both physical and mental health; riding helps me achieve better blood glucose control and it helps me to mentally unwind. I have ridden and volunteered for Tour de Cure (TDC) since 2008. Where else than the Portland Metro area can you see vineyards, hazelnut orchards and hops growing on a single bike ride
Once again, I will be riding in the American Diabetes Association's Tour de Cure fund-raising event. My goal for this yeargare pretty simple, I want to ride my bike with my team mates and enjoy the after party. I may have diabetes, but I am choosing to live the best possible life, despite the challenges that come from having diabetes. My fundraising goal is to raise a $1000, please support me with a donation by selecting the "Click Here to Sponsor Me" link. Our efforts will help set the pace in the fight against diabetes. So let's get in gear and bike to beat diabetes!
Help Make a Difference!

Together, we can all make a difference!
Thank you for making a generous contribution to this cause that is so important to me!
