Frank Griffith - Welcome to My Team Kappa Tour de Cure Page!
Fundraising in the memory of my Mum, Beulah M. Griffith......and for all of the members of my family struggling with Diabetes or Pre-diabetes.....
Family, Friends, Brothers of Kappa Alpha Psi, Classmates, Co-workers and Colleagues:
On Sept 8th 2018, Team Kappa and I will be joining thousands of fellow riders from across the Metropolitan Washington DC Area in the 2017 Northern Virginia Tour de Cure to raise money for the American Diabetes Association.
As an 11- time Champion for Diabetes, I continue to embrace the the challenge and the cause of the Tour de Cure. This will be my 10th year and 13th time participating in a Tour de Cure or Step Out event. Fundraising with other members of Team Kappa, comprised of Metro DC area members of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc, their families and friends, we have joined thousands of others to pedal in support of the Association's mission: to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.
The fight against diabetes is close to my heart as my mother, Beulah Griffith fought a valiant fight against diabetes for 43 years before her passing in October of 2013. I continue to ride and fundraise in her memory. I am asking you to help by supporting Team Kappa in our fund-raising efforts with a donation. Your tax-deductible gift will make a difference in the lives of more than 23 million Americans.
It's fast and easy to support this great cause - you can make your donation online by selecting the "DONATE TO ME" link on this page to make a secure, 100% tax-deductible donation. Any amount, great or small, helps in the fight against this deadly disease. I greatly appreciate your support and will keep you posted on my progress in raising funds for the ADA. If you want to do even more to help, please consider joining Team Kappa in this great event. Just select "JOIN MY TEAM" to join Team Kappa's efforts to lead the fight against diabetes.
Together we can stop diabetes, pedaling one mile at a time.
Thank you and God Bless!
Frank W Griffith Jr.
