Support Me in the 2017 Tour de Cure!
I Can’t Believe That 2017 Is My Eighth Tour De Cure Ride!
Shortly after my son Emmett was first diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in March of 2010, my good friend Ann asked me if I wanted to ride the Tour de Cure and she offered to ride with me. It felt “powerful” to do something- to raise money for a disease that I had no control over. I have been riding and raising money for diabetes education, research and advocacy every year since 2010. I can’t believe it will be my eighth year riding in the ADA Tour de Cure.
On June 4, 2017, I will be riding with over 2,000 cyclists who have raised funds to STOP DIABETES!!! I’ll be riding with the Kivort Steel Cycling Team (KSCT) a top 2 corporate sponsored fund raising team in the US!
