Welcome to My Tour de Cure Web Page!
IN MEMORY OF MY BROTHER, DAVID LEE. Please consider a donation to the 2019 Rochester Tour de Cure to support the American Diabetes Association!
I have participated in the Rochester Tour de Cure for the past 8 years primarily to support my brother, David, who was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at the age of 20 while he was in college. Unfortunately, David died in July of last year at the age of 62 as a result of long, drawn out complications from his disease. David's premature death is only one example of the toll that diabetes takes on those who suffer from the disease itself and those who are destined to care for those afflicted with it. On June 8, for the 9th year in a row, I will once again be participating in the American Diabetes Association's annual Rochester Tour de Cure to remember my brother David and to support the millions of other people nationwide who suffer from and are otherwise impacted by diabetes. Please support me with a donation.
The funds I raise will be used in the fight to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes. No matter how small or large, your generous gift will help improve the lives of millions of people who suffer from diabetes, with the hope that future generations can live in a world without this terrible disease. Together, we can all make a difference!
Thank you for making a generous contribution to this worthy cause that is so important to my family and me!
P.S. If you prefer to make a donation by check, please make it payable to the American Diabetes Association and send it to me by mail at 117 Shoreham Drive, Rochester, NY 14618.
