2020 Tour de Cure - Clear vision to Stop Diabetes
On May 2 2020, I will ride my bike for my 10th 100-mile Tour de Cure ride to raise awareness and money for the American Diabetes Association. That means a combined one thousand miles and with some reasonable fundraising this year, I can reach $50,000 total raised in those 10 years.
Thank you to all of my 2019 donors (and those who donated in earlier years too)! The progress of the American Diabetes Association during the last 10 years has been fantastic: in treatment development, research, education and advocacy; but diabetes is still affecting millions, so we cannot stop!
As you know, I have served on our community leadership board and have a step-grandson that is a person with Type-1 diabetes who has experienced many of the challenges of this disease, including stays in the hospital to deal with complications. Your contribution goes a long way and helps in many ways. The ADA needs more and more resources to keep up with the challenges this diresents.
Please support the great work of the American Diabetes Association. By making a donation on my behalf, you will be supporting the Association's research efforts while also helping fund educational programs, treatment programs and advocacy. If you know of anyone that might be inspired to give to this cause, please forward a link to this page so that they can consider giving to support the American Diabetes Association. It only takes a few clicks if you follow the link provided.
Thanks again for your generous donations!
