Welcome to My Tour de Cure Web Page!
SUPPORT ME IN TOUR DE CURE!
This June 2nd, I will be cycling in the American Diabetes Association's Tour de Cure fundraising event. As many of you know, this ride is very personal to me. I have been a type 1 diabetic since I was 16. This disease has not stopped me from achieving my goals in life, but has definitely made life more of a challenge. This will be my sixth year riding in the Tour de Cure and fifth year leading Team LIVEabetes STL. This year I am taking on the challange again to ride the century length. I challenge each of you to help me in this cause with a donation by selecting the "Sponsor Me" button, or better yet by joining me on this ride (selecting the "Join My Team" button). Our efforts will help set the pace in the fight against diabetes. So let's get in gear and ride to STOP DIABETES!
HELP MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN THE FIGHT AGAINST DIABETES!
Each mile I ride, and the funds I raise will be used in the fight to prevent and cure diabetes and to improve the lives of all people affected by diabetes.
No matter how small or large, your generous gift will help improve the lives of nearly 29 million Americans who suffer from diabetes, in the hope that future generations can live in a world without this disease. Together, we can all make a difference!
JOIN OUR TEAM!
Come ride with us (Team LIVEabetes) and you'll get to take part in a fun, exciting, healthy event for the whole family. You can even invite your friends and family to join. Every rider counts, every dollar raised makes a difference and everyone is welcome to join our team! There are multiple fully supported lengths to suit any rider.
Can't ride? One other way you can help make a difference is by volunteering on the day of the event (June 2nd). There are many options of time slots and type of work. And you can cheer on our team!!! If interested, message me and I can get you in touch with the right person.
Thank you for taking the time to inform yourself of my goals. I hope you can help me make a difference in this cause that is so important to me!
