Support Brad Maas in the Tour de Cure!
Paige Maas, along with 30 million other people living with diabetes, plus 79 million people with pre-diabetes, is why I ride. As most of you know, my daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes on April 25, 2011, at age seven. I am incredibly proud of Paige's progress and how maturely Paige handled her new lifestyle. As a father, there is not a day that goes by when I wish I could take her place and make her buden my own. Unfortunately this is not possible and I want to do everything in my power to help find a cure. This is why I have formed the biking team Paige's Pilots.
PILOT: A person duly qualified to operate an aircraft. A guide or leader. To be in charge of or responsible for.
"My name is Paige Maas and I am a Type 1 Diabetic. I have to check my blood sugar several times a day and use an insulin pump. Sometimes I have to take shots but it is worth it because I am healthy and it keeps me that way. I want to help other kids fund a way to help [manage] their diabetes and find a cure. I hope someone can cure diabetes forever!" --Paige Maas
I have set a personal goal of $5,000. Because of your support, I am participating in the 100-mile century ride. That's right, 100 miles!!! The ride takes place in Hillsboro, OR on July 28, 2018.
If you are financially able to support my daughter and me, we appreciate your generosity. All donations are tax deductible. Thank you for supporting my girl!
