Welcome to My Tour de Cure Web Page!
I am participating in my 5th American Diabetes Association's annual Tour de Cure event this year. I am asking you to join me in the effort to Stop Diabetes by making a contribution to support my ride.
My daughter Anna was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes late in 2011 and she has confronted it head on with courage and more maturity than one can ever expect from a young girl. In the time our family has been affected by Diabetes we have had the opportunity to see and associate ourselves with brave families and children that tackle this disease on a daily basis, as every day is a learning adventure in managing Diabetes.
I am proud to participate this year in the Tour de Cure, I am especially proud of my daughter, and I am so grateful and humbled at the outpouring of support we have recieved from our family friends and colleagues.
The dollars that are raised for the American Diabetes Association fund research, provide services, and give voice to those denied their rights because of diabetes. I believe in the work they do and have witnessed the amazing community of research first hand. More than 25 million Americans live with diabetes and your support can and will make a difference in their lives. Closer to my heart, it make a difference in Anna's life.
Please help by making a donation - large or small - to support the work of the American Diabetes Association. Or why not join us on the day of the event? Become a participant and side by side as teammates we can work together to STOP DIABETES! Team Monaco Mechanical is a great way to enjoy the day! We have riders in all levels of mileage.
Thank you for making a generous contribution to this cause that is so important to me!
Sincerley, Ed Gritzenbach
