2017 Napa Valley Tour de Cure

2016 SF Free Clinic Team
2016 SF Free Clinic Team

SF Free Clinic

For the past 6 years, the Diabetes Team at the San Francisco Free Clinic has gathered a group of people to help support the cause of fighting diabetes. We have participated annually in the Napa Valley Tour de Cure, by donating money, fundraising, volunteering, or riding in the event. In 2016 we had our biggest team ever with 20 riders, raising $19,999. Will you join us for 2017, the 26th year of the Napa Valley Tour de Cure?!

We hope to continue this great tradition of supporting an important and worthy cause. The SF Free Clinic has always understood what a devastating and pervasive disease diabetes is -- Dr. Patricia Gibbs was an early proponent of a “Diabetes Clinic” model, which allows for a systematic and thorough review of diabetes care that is required with this complex and destructive disease. Dr. Gibbs continues to head our weekly Diabetes Clinic, much needed these days, as we continue to see many new cases, some severe and life-changing.

We have seen the widespread and devastating effects that diabetes has on so many people, and we'd like to do what we can to reverse some of these problems.

Please consider joining our team to make a difference in this fight against diabetes!!

If you can't join us, support us!

By making a donation or joining our team, you will be helping the American Diabetes Association provide community-based education programs, protect the rights of people with diabetes and fund critical research for a cure.

As a team, united in our vision of a life free of diabetes and all its burdens; we are asking for your support. Please make a donation to one of our team members or join us by registering on our team. When we bring together dedicated team members and kind donors, the power we have as a group far outweighs what any of us could do alone.

We are determined to reach our team goal, one person at a time. So let's get in gear and make a difference together!
