Welcome to the Team Page for Paige's Pilots!
Paige Maas was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes on April 25, 2011 and her life changed forever. In 2012, I started this team to raise money for research to find Paige a cure. The first year, the team consisted of six people. Last year, the team has grown to 45 participants.
Even though some of the team members are qualified to operate an aircraft, ALL members of team Paige's Pilots are leaders on a mission to stop diabetes.
We are pleased to have employees from seven airlines participate - Delta Air Lines, Alaska Airlines, United Airlines, FedEx, Southwest Airlines, SkyWest and ExpressJet
Our Team is Making a difference. You can too!
Our team is supporting the American Diabetes Association because we want to make a difference. We want to lead. We want to inspire. We want to empower. We want a cure!
This year, you can run, ride or walk with our team at Tour de Cure! If you can't join our team, support us with a donation!
By making a donation or joining our team, you will be helping the Association provide community-based education programs, protect the rights of people with diabetes and fund critical research for a cure.
When we bring together dedicated team members and generous donors, the power we have as a group far outweighs what any of us could do alone.
We are determined to reach our team goal, one person at a time. So let's make a difference together!
