Welcome to the Warthogs! What is a Warthog, you ask? It's America's toughest, ugliest warplane, and now it is here to combat diabetes.
Colonel Ken Lowry is a retired Air Force veteran that supported the A-10 Warthogs out of Whiteman AFB for 38 years. He is a husband, father, Papoo, and friend, and is a type 2 diabetic. We also ride for our teammate and friend, Mark Longhofer, who pedals with Type 1.5 known as LADA (Latent Autoimmune Diabetes in Adults. Both are our honored riders and we ride for you!
We are dedicated to ride and raise money in their inspiration, not just for red riders, but for the 29 million people in the United States have diabetes. We would love you to join us, celebrate, and/or contribute on our journey.
If you can't join us, support us!
By making a donation or joining our team, you will be helping the Association provide community-based education programs, protect the rights of people with diabetes and fund critical research for a cure.
As a team, united in our vision of a life free of diabetes and all its burdens; we are asking for your support. Please make a donation to one of our team members or join us by registering on our team. When we bring together dedicated team members and kind donors, the power we have as a group far outweighs what any of us could do alone.
We are determined to reach our team goal, one person at a time. So let's get in gear and make a difference together!
