Today alone over 4,100 people will be diagnosed with it. It is the 7th leading cause of death in the United States killing more Americans each year than breast cancer and AIDS combined. And, if it continues growing at the same rate, recent estimates project that as many as 1 in 3 American adults will have it by 2050.

What is it? It is Diabetes.

This year Tour de Cure(R) celebrates 30 years of making an impact in the lives of millions. We are teaming up to change the future and make a positive impact in the lives of those who are affected by Diabetes. We're committed to ride/walk and fundraise together through this inspirational event to not only support the over 34 million people in the United States with Diabetes, but to champion and honor those we know personally who are impacted.

By donating or joining our team, The Notorious A1Cs, you will be helping the American Diabetes Association to:
* Spread awareness of the devastating effects of diabetes.
* Advocate for a child discriminated against in school because of diabetes.
* Fund life-saving research.
* Provide access to community programs and free resources that help those living with diabetes to live well.
