The New England Classic Tour de Cure is Like No Other!
Participating in the New England Classic (NEC) is an experience you will never forget. More than just a cycling event, it's a weekend or weeklong adventure cycling through picturesque towns, along the coast and through the mountains. Along the way we provide fully-stocked rest stops, mechanical support and SAG (support and gear) vehicles to keep you safe on the road. Riders stay in air-conditioned accommodations that include dinner and breakfast each day.
It's the most fun on two wheels and the ultimate Tour de Cure challenge!
NEC 150 Two-Day Experience: Travel the back roads of the Merrimack Valley of Massachusetts into southern New Hampshire and along the seacoast. Day two takes you to coastal Maine past beaches, rocky coves and quaint villages. After a celebration, showers and dinner at the end of Day 2, riders take chartered buses back to Woburn while their bicycles are transported there safely.
NEC 550 Seven-Day Experience: Sharing the first two days of its route with the New England Classic 150, riders leave coastal Maine on day 3, heading west into the White Mountain region. The challenge rolls north through Crawford Notch, passes Mount Washington and crosses the Connecticut River into Vermont. After a night in Montpelier, riders pedal the river valleys of the Green Mountains on scenic Route 100 to the Killington area and the welcome comfort of a ski resort. The trek continues through Vermont and then back into the Monadnock region of New Hampshire. The final leg heads to Central Massachusetts, winding its way to the finish in Woburn. At the finish, savor the satisfaction of an accomplishment with an intrepid group of cyclists who bring us closer to a victory over diabetes with every mile they pedal.
Make a difference for this great cause and register for the Tour de Cure today! You will be inspired by all of those joining you as you make an impact for this great cause.
