Event Highlights

Tour de Cure is more than just a cycling event. It's a life-changing event. A day full of fun and excitement where riders of all levels join forces in the fight to Stop Diabetes® and raise critical funds for diabetes research, education and advocacy in support of the American Diabetes Association.
The Rochester Tour de Cure features routes of different lengths for riders of all skill levels. There's something for everyone from a leisurely 3 mile Family Ride all the way up to the challenge of the 100 mile Century ride. Either way, Tour de Cure is a ride, not a race, so take it at your own speed and enjoy the journey.
All of our Tour de Cure routes are safe and fully supported with route marshals, SAG vehicles, mechanical support, and rest stops stocked with hydration and a variety of snacks to keep you fueled. At the finish, you will be welcomed with cheering volunteers, great food and more! So take the Ride of Your Life and sign up today!
2013 Routes:
The Tour de Cure prides itself on being a safe and fun ride. All our routes are marked by color directional signs depending on your route.
Rest stops are waiting for you every 10 - 12 miles and there is full support from bike shop mechanics in case you need some help with a flat tire.
A link to our route maps is to your right. Stay tuned for GPS files.

Do you or someone you know have diabetes?
Thousands of people with diabetes participate in Tour as "Red Riders". Red Riders are the reason we ride—they are given a jersey to proudly wear on the day of the event.
Beyond the recognition, Red Riders are part of a community that inspires us to ride and raise money to Stop Diabetes. The purpose of the Red Riders is to support everyone who lives with type 1 or type 2 diabetes and showcase the courage it takes to live every day with this difficult disease.
Red Riders are being supported all year long now and the shout, "GO RED RIDER" is taking the country by storm! Check it out!
Be sure to choose "Red Rider" when you register! * Red Riders who raise the minimum $175 will receive the 2013 Red Rider Jersey.
