Tour de Cure is more than just a cycling event. It's a life-changing event. A day full of fun and excitement where riders of all levels join forces in the fight to Stop Diabetes® and raise critical funds for diabetes research, education and advocacy in support of the American Diabetes Association.

Routes for All Skill Levels

The Tour de Cure prides itself on being a safe and fun ride. All our routes are marked by color directional signs depending on your route. The 100 mile for instance will follow the red signs. Rest stops are waiting for you every 10 - 12 miles and there is full support from bike shop mechanics in case you need some help with a flat tire.

The route maps will be posted soon, so make sure you check back. This year you will be able to downlaod the GPS coordinates if you want them for your own GPS device.

Do you or someone you know have diabetes?

Thousands of people with diabetes participate in Tour as "Red Riders". Red Riders are the reason we ride—they are given a jersey to proudly wear on the day of the event. Beyond the recognition, Red Riders are part of a community that inspires us to ride and raise money to Stop Diabetes. Be sure to choose "Red Rider" when you register!

Champions To Stop Diabetes

When you ride in Tour de Cure, you take part in something unique. You join the ranks of some of the most passionate champion logopeople in the country people who care about cycling, health and, above all, finding a cure for diabetes.

If you raise $1,000 or more for a local Tour de Cure you will automatically become a Champion to Stop Diabetes and will receive special recognition on the weekend of the event, along with special perks all year long!

If you raise $2,600, in honor of the 26 million Americans living with diabetes, you will become a Champion on a Mission and will receive the coveted gold Champions jersey.

Thank You Gifts

Tour de Cure participants can earn a variety of exciting thank front 500 jersey croppedyougifts including exclusive apparel, popular electronics, and more! They represent our thanks for reaching higher fundraising levels to fund the mission of the American Diabetes Association and the 26 million Americans with diabetes we serve. All registered participants raising the minimum fundraising amount will receive a commemorative Tour de Cure event T-shirt on the day of the local event.
