Over 1,000 riders and volunteers made the Tour de Cure a very special day to remember!
Thank Your Supporters! Don't forget to log in to your Tour Center and email your family, friends and donors to thank them for their support!
Keep Fundraising! You still have until July 8th to fundraise and help us exceed our goal!
Event T-shirts: If you did not receive your T-shirt on the day of the event please email llauro@diabetes.org with your shirt size.
Fundraising Incentive Gifts: Donations made to you until July 8th will count toward your thank you gift level.
You earned a gift if you raised $250 or more. Gifts will be sent out as
redemption certificates 4-5 weeks after the event. The certificate has a
code that allows you entry into an online gift ordering system.
Donations: Donors
can continue to make a contribution to your campaign until August. If
you have a check donation please send the check to our office at the
address below. Please include a note with your name, so we can credit
the gift to you. Give your donors this cash/check receipt.

PINDAR VINEYARDS 

All routes Start and End at Pindar Vineyards in Peconic. All of our routes are FLAT, FLAT and FLAT!!! The Tour de Cure takes you through the beautiful East End of Long Island that can only be seen on 2 wheels! The East End is known as Wine Country. By participating in the Tour de Cure you will get to be a part of this INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE! Stroll through the minimal traffic roads and enjoy the scenic views. See the beautiful farmlands, woods, breathtaking views of the Long Island Sound and stop and relax at the East End Wineries who graciously provide their facilities for our riders to use.
LI Tour de Cure features routes of different lengths for riders of all skill levels. There's something for everyone from a leisurely short distance to a more challenging length. Either way, Tour de Cure is a ride, not a race, so take it at your own speed and enjoy the journey. All Tour de Cure routes are safe and fully supported with route marshals, SAG vehicles, mechanical support, and rest stops stocked with hydration and a variety of snacks to keep you fueled. At the finish, you will be welcomed with cheering volunteers, great food and more. Start the morning off with some fresh coffee, bagels, pastries, eggs, pancakes and french toast.
After your ride is over get set for Long Island's BIGGEST AFTER PARTY! That's right- The Long Island Tour de Cure truly has it ALL! Our after party consists of a delicious BBQ Lunch, live Music, Health and Wellness Village, Massages, Kids Zone and so much more!
Tour de Cure is more than just a cycling event. It's a life-changing event. A day full of fun and excitement where riders of all levels join forces in the fight to Stop Diabetes® and raise critical funds for diabetes research, education and advocacy in support of the American Diabetes Association.
The Tour is a ride, not a race. Whether you are an occasional rider or an experienced cyclist, there is a route just for you.
So take the Ride of Your Life and sign up today! Fundraising minimum $150. All children 12 and under will only be required to raise $50 to ride!

· 5 Mile Fun Ride is our family-friendly Fun Ride and is accessible to all ages and fitness levels, this ride is police escorted for the best experience.
· 20 Mile, 40 Mile Ride offers a moderate challenge while being safe and scenic. Frequent rest stops and plenty of SAG patrols make this ride a great choice for the beginner to intermediate cyclist.
· 62 Mile Metric Century Our 62 Mile Metric Century rides through the North Shore of the beautiful East End of Long Island and into Orient State Park.– the perfect choice for the intermediate to advanced cyclist. Full route support ensures a safe ride from start to finish.
· 100 Mile Century Our 100 Mile Century is a true test of endurance riding in which you will ride through the North and South shore of the Beautiful East End. – Best suited for the experienced cyclist. 100 miles on the East End of Long Island’s best roads guarantee an unforgettable experience.

Directions to Pindar on the North Fork:
Pindar Vineyards is located 90 miles East of Manhattan. Follow LIE
(Route 495) East to Exit 73 (Route 58) which turns into Route 25.
Continue approximately 12 miles to Peconic.
Pindar Vineyards is on your left on the North side of the road.
