What You All Are Saying about Tour:

"Dear Katie-Rose, I know you spent your weekend dealing with frustrations and things that were going wrong and trying to make them right. However please know that most of us never noticed anything wrong. There were volunteers at every stop (God bless all of them!). There was food, ice, water and sports drink at every stop. There was ibuprofen, GU's, fruit, pickles (and therefore the amazing healing power of pickle juice) at every stop. Lunch was served! There was food, drink, etc at the finish... real cheerleaders! Massages, beer, wine, music... DINNER! And nobody was left out on the course!

You and the committee, volunteers, sponsors, etc. do an amazing job every year and although we take it for granted because you knock it out of the park every year, please know we don't take YOU and the amazing job you do for granted!!! There is a reason I have driven down from DC for years and now drive from south of Atlanta, GA to be a part of the NC Tour de Cure... because it's the best organized ride I've ever been a part of and all of the people from the top down are amazing! I look forward to this weekend every year. Now that it's over I'm a little bummed but I'm already looking forward to 2014!!! Thanks for all that you do for us!!!"

"Third TdC for me ... another great event with fantastic support. Thank you to all the volunteers and head honcho Katie-Rose Tuttle for the hard work! Next year I may ride the local Cary route and volunteer the other time. Good to mix things up."

"First Tour de Cure - won't miss another ... Amazing people and and a great cause! Thanks to all of the volunteers, and God bless those dealing with diabetes every day!"
