Event Highlights & Important Day of Event Information
Tour de Cure is more than just a cycling event. It's a life-changing event. A day full of fun and excitement where riders of all levels join forces in the fight to Stop Diabetes® and raise critical funds for diabetes research, education and advocacy in support of the American Diabetes Association.
The Tour is a ride, not a race. Whether you are an occasional rider or an experienced cyclist, there is a route just for you.

Early Packet Pickup Dates
Weather - We will be riding rain or shine (hopefully shine), so make sure to watch the
weather and be prepared! Our weather information line is setup at (314) 822-5490 x 6824.
Route Maps and Cue Sheets will be available at check in day of event.
Reminder- ALL Riders must meet the $200 fundraising minimum to ride on June 1st. If you are not at the minimum at check in and do not have proof of donations in the last 24 hours, you will be asked to fill out a committment card for the remaining balance. 100 Mile
Century- Please note there
will be a cut off on the Century Route, if you do not reach Rest Stop # 3 in
Hardin by 11:00 AM you will be diverted to an alternate Century Route, est.
83.1 miles.
50 Mile Route
30 Mile Route
10 Mile Route- will be on bike paths through our the
Riverfront Park around the Amphitheater, maps will be available day of the
event.
Early Packet Pickups
You can pick up your bib number and turn in
your emergency waiver early to speed up registration the day of the event. You
must be at the $200 minimum to pick up your bib number. The early turn in and
packet pick ups are:

Thousands of people with diabetes participate in Tour as "Red Riders". Red Riders are the reason we ride—they are given a jersey to proudly wear on the day of the event. Beyond the recognition, Red Riders are part of a community that inspires us to ride and raise money to Stop Diabetes. Be sure to choose "Red Rider" when you register!

GO RED RIDER! Be sure to show your support of the Red Riders by yelling GO RED RIDER when you see a rider in the Red Rider Jersey!

Thank You Gifts
Tour de Cure participants can earn a variety of exciting thank you gifts including exclusive apparel, popular electronics, and more! They represent our thanks for reaching higher fundraising levels to fund the mission of the American Diabetes Association and the 26 million Americans with diabetes we serve. All registered participants raising the minimum fundraising amount will receive a commemorative Tour de Cure event T-shirt on the day of the local event. Raise $250 or more and you'll earn your choice of thank you gifts!

Team Red
Team Red is for Red Riders (participants with type 1 or type 2 diabetes), their family, friends and anyone else who is looking to join with millions of others who want to Stop Diabetes! Any rider who isn't already on another team can join Team Red.
Being on Team Red means that you will instantly be a part of a community made up of people from all different areas and walks of life. Team Red is a great way to connect with other families supporting a Red Rider and other families that are honoring a loved one with diabetes.
If I don't have diabetes, can I join Team Red?
YES! You can join Team Red, which is made up of Red Riders AND those who support Red Riders. This is a team for anyone who doesn't already have a team.

Gus's Gang Team Fundraiser!
Gus's Gang has joined up with Chili's to raise funds for the Tour de Cure! Dine Out at any Chili's in the St. Louis area on May 29th, June 5th and 12th and Chili's will give back 10% of your check to the Tour de Cure! Make sure to bring the Chili's Flyer with you! You can have it eletronically! Join Gus's Gang and the American Diabetes Association in the fight to STOP Diabetes!
