Event Highlights
The Nebraksa Tour de Cure is more than just a cycling event. It's a life-changing event. A day full of fun and excitement where riders of all levels join forces in the fight to Stop Diabetes® and raise critical funds for diabetes research, education and advocacy in support of the American Diabetes Association.
The Tour is a ride, not a race. Whether you are an occasional rider or an experienced cyclist, there is a route just for you. Our fully SAG supported RIDE consists of three routes,- 50 mile road-ride, 20 miles and 10 miles. The day is full of fun and surprises including great food, a live band, a recovery center, and prize drawings. More information will come to those who are registered!
Our day of event will include a new start/finish line, light breakfast provided by Trader Joes, snacks on the ride provided by GoMacro and a variety from US Foods, Inc., water from Ideal Water and Jim Puls Remodeling (bottles). After you will find a recovery center provided by Omaha School of Massage and Performance Chiropractic, music from the Personics, food provided by Trader Joes, Mangia Italiana, Nebraska Brewing Company, and libations to include Glacial Till Winery. We have some GREAT rider prizes that will include a S.E. Palasade, 7 speed, hybrid bike from SCHEELS(click 'bike'), a $250 SCHEELS gift card, a $100 Mahogany Prime gift card, Tour de Cure wind jacket, cycing prints - mounted and framed, plus many more.
