Event Highlights
Tour de Cure is more than just a cycling event. It's a life-changing event. A day full of fun and excitement where riders of all levels join forces in the fight to Stop Diabetes® and raise critical funds for diabetes research, education and advocacy in support of the American Diabetes Association.
We have something for everyone! Great food, top notch routes, safety and
medical support. Start off your ride with an amazing and delicious warm gourmet
breakfast. Climb gentle grades as you
enjoy breathtaking views of our own American Riviera. You’ll be treated to a special rest stop at
the Four Seasons Biltmore as you overlook Butterfly Beach. You may decide to
take the journey along a course with spectacular and stunning views of the
Pacific Ocean and Channel Islands as well as magnificent mansions, avocado and
citrus groves.
Like Santa
Barbara’s blended wines, this ride balances beauty, texture and complexity to
arrive at a finished product that is brimming with character. Some of the
routes take you past vineyards, horse ranches and earthy oak-lined roads of
Montecito. You can even checkout the
historic site of a World War II Japanese submarine attack. Before long, you’ve
reached the finish line at Leadbetter Beach, where an extraordinary post party
and scrumptious BBQ lunch awaits you.
It is no wonder Santa Barbara is one of the
favorite training locations for the American Pro Cyclists!
The Tour is a ride, not a race. Whether you are an occasional rider or an experienced cyclist, there is a route just for you.
So take the Ride of Your Life and sign up today!
