Do you or someone you know have diabetes?
Thousands of people with diabetes participate in Tour as "Red Riders". Red Riders are the reason we ride—they are given a jersey to proudly wear on the day of the event. Beyond the recognition, Red Riders are part of a community that inspires us to raise awareness and funds to Stop Diabetes. Be sure to choose "Red Rider" when you register!

Fundraising Facts: Did You Know...???
-
Sending Emails -
through your Tour Page to your friends, family and co-workers has a bigger
impact than you may realize. Fundraising more than doubles from
an average of $128 with no emails sent to $286 by simply sending less than
10 emails. This increases dramatically to over $1000 raised on
average for those who sent over 100 emails!
-
Updating Your
Personal Tour Page -
makes your goal to fight diabetes more personal to your family and
friends. Your story is more compelling and people will want to
share it with others. Those who did so increased fundraising from an
average of $85 to $347 last year!
-
Self-Donating - shows your personal commitment to this cause and sets
the ultimate example for those who you are asking to support you. Again,
this more than doubles the average fundraising dollars from $140 raised by
those who did not self-donate to $338 by those who did. Check out some fundraising ideas that may tie into some
of your other interests with Fundraising Ideas A-Z!
