Route and Event Info

All Tour de Cure route options are designed with your safety and enjoyment in mind. Choose your distance and know that every mile helps make a difference. Whether short or long, each route is fully supported with rest stops, SAG vehicles and morel.

Our Tour de Cure event has its own character and style—from a unique starting point to the gorgeous local scenery and so much more!  No matter what route you choose you'll enjoy a fun day at this event for such a great cause.

New for 2017 a Walking Route Option!

Do you have friends, family or co-workers who want to be part of the Tour but don’t ride a bike? We have a solution! This year we are introducing a walking route on the trails of the Wells Reserve.  All walkers will have the same registration fee and fundraising minimum as riders, as well as enjoy the same amazing event experience! To participate, just select the Walker or Red Strider registration type when registering on the Kennebunks Tour de Cure website. Exact walking route is being created and will be shared in the spring – stay tuned!


100 Mile Century  2017_TDC_Kennebunks_100MRoute

Our 100 Mile Century is a true test of endurance – best suited for the experienced cyclist. 100 miles on York County’s scenic roads guarantee an unforgettable experience, including ample ocean views and picturesque farmland.

Check-In:  6:00 a.m.
Start:  7:00 a.m.
Route Closure: 3:00 p.m.

100K Metric Century Route (62 miles)  2017_TDC_Kennebunks_100KRoute

Our Metric Century features Maine’s scenic coastline and rolling farmland – the perfect choice for the intermediate to advanced cyclist. Full route support ensures a safe ride from start to finish.

Check-In:  7:00 a.m.
Start:  8:00 a.m.
Route Closure: 3:00 p.m.

50K Route (32 miles)  2017_TDC_Kennebunks_50KRoute

Our 50K ride offers a moderate challenge and is both safe and scenic with gorgeous views of Maine’s rocky coast. This route is perfect for the intermediate cyclist

Start:  10:00 a.m.
Route Closure: 3:00 p.m.

25K Route (16 miles)  2017_TDC_Kennebunks_25KRoute

Our 25K ride offers spectacular ocean views, including Kennebunk beach and Walker’s Point in Kennebunkport. With rest stops every 5 miles and plenty of SAG support, this route is a great choice for beginner cyclists.

Our family-friendly ride is accessible to all ages and fitness levels and takes place on low traffic neighborhood roads.

Walking Trail Route (length TBD) 

Don't ride a bike? Enjoy a scenic walk through the picturesque trails at the Wells Reserve at Laudholm.  Keep checking back for exact route and distance.
