Walk Route: The DC Step Out Walk will feature a 5k Walk.  Here are the route instructions and map.  Please note this may change slightly as we get closer to the event.  

Tour Routes: All route options (10, 33 and 50 miles) are designed with your safety and enjoyment in mind. Choose your distance and know that every mile helps make a difference. Whether short or long, each route is fully supported with rest stops, SAG vehicles and more! Please check back often for more details.  

The event day will also feature a Health & Wellness Expo, food and exciting live entertainment for all participants! 

Parking and Metro Info:

We recommend public transportation if possible.  The closest Metro station is Smithsonian. Walking directions from this Metro stop can be found here. The Metro will be operating under their normal schedule so please check the schedule to make sure you can arrive in time for your check-in and start time.

There are a few parking garages (including the Ronald Reagan Building Parking- 1300 Pennsylvania Ave NW, Washington, DC 20004) and limited street parking in the area.  We also recommend using the app SpotHero, which will donate 20% of proceeds from parking back to the event.   • At the beginning of registering choose the VIRTUAL WALKER registration option.
