Red Rider/Striders

Our Red Participants (Red Riders, Red Striders, Red Runners and Red Ninjas) are children and adults who have type 1 or type 2 diabetes that participate in the Tour de Cure Colorado event. It's time to celebrate those with diabetes are being active to stay healthy!

YOU are going to feel so special on the day of the event as everyone cheers specifically for YOU!

The Tour de Cure recognizes all those with diabetes as the HEROES on the day of the event.  With hundreds of participants who may share a similar story, and hundreds more to support you, being a Red Rider, Red Strider or Red Ninja can help with your first mile or your millionth—in your fight to live a healthier life. Riding your bike or walking and running is a great way to stay in shape and exercise is extremely important for everyone with diabetes.

All you need to do to be recognized as a Red Participant is register for the Tour de Cure as a Red Rider / Red Strider / Red Runner / Red Ninja (on the first page of the register screen).  Just click the REGISTER button at the top of the screen to get started. You will receive special recognition on the day of the event and you will be so glad you made the decision to no longer hide that you live with this disease every day.  You work hard to stay healthy, so let’s celebrate your accomplishments!

  • Find the Step Out you’d like to participate in locally, and
  • At the beginning of registering choose the VIRTUAL WALKER registration option.

You can create a team either through the "Register" button above where you'll first find the nearby event or by visiting the list of events associated with national company below.

Do not forget to associate your newly created team with this company.
