Chronic Connections of Durham/Chapel Hill

Thank you for supporting Chronic Connections of Durham/Chapel Hill!  We are an independently run, supportive community of people coping with chronic illnesses.  Some of our illnesses are debilitating and painful such as Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, and Rheumatoid Arthritis, while others of us deal with silent killers such as Types I and II Diabetes.

Some of us will be riding standard road or mountain type bicycles, and others will be riding handicapped enabled cycles to raise money for the war against diabetes.  We welcome all types of riders to join our team, despite physical limitations.  Our organization promotes "the thrill of victory" and avoids the "agony of defeat" by accepting our physical limitations but making the most of what we have.

Thank you for supporting our efforts by helping us to meet our financial goals.  Let's eliminate Diabetes from the illness list of Chronic Connections of Durham/Chapel Hill!
