Affordable Health Care for America Act (HR 3962)
In an historic vote, the House passed The Affordable Health Care for America Act on Saturday with a vote of 220-215. Several Members of Congress highlighted stories from people with diabetes during the debate over the weekend.
If enacted, the Affordable Health Care for America Act will end discrimination against people with diabetes by prohibiting insurance companies from denying coverage or charging higher premiums to people with diabetes.
