Now through December 4, 2009 (8 p.m., EST), the American Diabetes Association is seeking applications and nominations for the National Scientific & Health Care Achievement Awards. These awards provide an opportunity to recognize exceptional leadership of individuals who have made significant contributions to the Association through outstanding career achievements and support in the areas of diabetes research, clinical care, and education.

American Diabetes Association-Patient Management Program (ADA-PMP)
The American Diabetes Association-Patient Management Program (ADA-PMP) is designed as an online simulation of an actual initial patient visit followed by three follow-up visits. This free program uses video, audio and questions and answer components to test history taking and diagnostic skills, accurate interpretation of laboratory data, and selection of the appropriate treatment according to the American Diabetes Association's Clinical Practice Recommendations.
